Music Supervisors

All supervisors listed here will accept unsolicited material; some request contact before submission (see listing). However, it is always a good idea to write, email or call to request permission to send your songs before actually sending them.

First, it’s a great courtesy that might save you some time and money if the listing is, for whatever reason, not accepting submissions or if they are not looking for your kind of music.

Second, a brief conversation will provide useful information from the source about how many songs to submit, desired genres, format and other preferences.

Third, when they have your name, they’ll be expecting to hear from you and may remember talking to you.

To ensure that they remember your conversation, include a letter that mentions the fact that you called and the date of the discussion.

Finally, you owe it to yourself to go to the company’s web site if they have one. Knowledge is power.
